Privacy Policy

We recognize and respect your need for privacy and security as you visit our site. When you visit our site to view any pages, read product information, or use any online tools or links, you do so without telling us who you are and without revealing any personal information. While we do not collect identifying information about visitors to our site, we do use standard software to collectively gather information for the strict purpose of tracking activity on our site. We only use such data anonymously and in the aggregate. This allows us to better understand how many people use our site and which pages and features are most popular. The information we normally collect and store is:

  • The name of your Internet service provider.
  • The web site that referred you to us (if any).
  • The date and time the pages were accessed.
  • The page or pages you requested.

We are very sensitive to the confidential nature of executive job search. We do retain copies of documents we prepare for you on file to enable us to provide update services, but we will never distribute your resume or provide any information whatsoever about you to anyone unless you have given us your express permission.

We do not collect financial information (such as credit card numbers) via this website. When you do provide us with financial information via other means, this information is used solely for the purpose of billing for products or services you have ordered. We employ other companies and individuals to perform some functions on our behalf, such as providing services or products you have purchased or processing credit card payments. By engaging our services, you agree that these companies may have access to your personal information only as necessary to perform their functions, and that they may not share that information with any third party.

As an ongoing service, we from time to time may contact our clients regarding job opportunities and/or useful career development information. Clients may opt out of further contact at any time by simply replying with “unsubscribe” in the subject heading of an e-mail.

If you fill out one of our feedback or request forms or send us e-mail, you are transmitting only the information that appears to you in the form or the message. This will typically include information like your name, mailing address, e-mail address, the kind of request you are making, and any other information necessary to fulfill your request. You never transmit personally identifying information that you do not enter yourself. And this is always your option; this information cannot be collected unless you specifically elect to send it to us. This information is used internally only for the purpose of fulfilling the request or for contacting you directly and will not be given or sold to any other organization.

We use reasonable precautions to ensure personal information disclosed to us is secure. However, we are not responsible for any breach of security. This privacy policy is not intended to, and does not, create any contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of any party. We may disclose personal information to legal authorities when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of the law or comply with a legal process served on our website or business.

We ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (“Personal Information”) such as your name and contact information. We use your Personal Information to operate our site and services. We may also inform you of our new features, services, and products. Your Personal Information is not shared with anyone who does not work for or with us, except with your permission.

We keep client provided writing samples, resumes, and other information confidential. Again, they are not shared with anyone who does not work for or with us, except with your permission.

We “reply to” and re-use return email addresses to answer the emails we receive and to send follow-up emails. It is your responsibility to use an email address that is secure and confidential, and we assume no liability whatsoever for damages or consequences of any kind that may occur due to your receipt of sensitive information or documents that are viewed or misused by others at the email address you have supplied.

We reserve the right to use our work (including resumes and other work prepared for you) and your questions, comments, and feedback in instructional, promotional, or other material. We will remove your Personal Information from any such work.

We may use cookies to count users to our sites but these cookies do not contain any Personal Information.

Our site contains links to other sites. Creative Keystrokes can make no representations regarding and is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites. We suggest that you verify the privacy policies of these sites before submitting any personal information.

We hope you find our website useful and informative and are always willing to answer questions and receive suggestions. If you have either, please contact us. Thank you.

*Note: We reserve the right to change our privacy policy. A revised policy statement will apply only to data collected subsequent to its effective date. Any revisions will be posted at least 30 days prior to its effective date.
